Mirrors....

In the process of purchasing our first caravan, sterling europa 500L. I have also had to purchase a new vwhicle to tow it...Nissan X-Trail.

Should be collecting both this friday. Now the question will i need extension mirrors or are the ones on the X-trail large enough.

If needed what type would you recommend.

Hello Paul,

The essential requirement for side mirrors is that with the outfit in a straight line, you can see the whole of the length of both sides. If you cant see the rear corners of the caravan you need extensions.

I agree entirely with John, so if you need mirrors why not go to your local dealership and ask them to let you try there differnt mirrors and see which ones fit and give you the vision you need at a price you like.
