Mobile caravan servicing near Plymouth.

Does any Plymouth forum members have their 'vans serviced at home on the drive please? Since we bought our Bailey from Bristol back in'08, I've took it up there, but I dont fancy doing that anymore. Are mobile agents recognised by manufactures, Our 3 years warranty is up now so is it ok to take it elsewhere for its annual? Thanks.

To answer your question, yes you can take it anywhere for service now the warranty has expired - there's no need to go to a NCC approved workshop or mobile engineer.
Get personal recommendations in your local area as some of the non-approved engineers are very good and not all approved ones are!

RogerL,

It is only the 3 year warranty that is finished.
If the OP wants to keep his water ingress warranty then he will still need to use an NCC/AWS approved engineer mobile or fixed, he will also need to have a full service to retain the warranty.

So, if I use a NCC accredited mobile engineer for my next annual service, my Bailey water ingress warranty will remain intact? Take my 'van to the nearest main dealer, I hear you ask! I have a serious issue with my nearest dealer that i dont wish to discuss on here. But I need to adhere to Bailey policy, without having to drive all the way up to Chipping Sodbury, just to have it serviced.

Yes any AWS/NCC approved workshop, mobile or fixed can retain your warranty, but as I said in my last post you need to have a full service to comply with the warranty terms.

To ensure your chosen engineer is approved check on the approved workshop website http://www.approvedworkshops.co.uk/search/?url=/search there are some who claim to be approved when they are not!!!!
