Hi Simon,Sorry to "but in"on this thread, but could you tell me how your mondeo copes with the Bailey?

Ive got an 06 2.2 TDCI Hatchback Mondeo and we were thinking of upgrading to the Sancerre, but worked out that the Bailey would be about 91% of the cars kerb weight.

Does yours tow ok?

Adrian, I doubt you'll have any issues towing your new van. What kerbweight is your 2.2? Mine is 1640kg (weighbridge) and manages my current van (1350kg) with ease. My new van is 1440kg and I dont anticipate any problems.

Cheers

I have not taken it to a weighbridge, but the V5 shows a figure of 1467kg which i think is a little low

Think my best option would be to take it to a weighbridge as the V5 shows the weight as being 1467kg.
Adrian, best idea. empty the car, wait untill your fuel tank is low, and then go. This way you will get the car at its lightest kerbweight. Think you may be surprised.

Cheers.
