Hi Lisa, If you want to suggest to Mod to have this topic removed from the forum, no problem. I am speaking for myself not cris. I thought I did end it once. But by the amount of replies its still here. If people did't reply it would go away. Just a suggestion. Liz

Against my better judgement saying "Drop that bone!!" here's another response, I promise this is my last reply on this subject,

Firstly, if it were someone's job to do nothing but clean the toilet / showers then they would not be a warden but a cleaner. I accept that "cleaner" is more polite than "toilet attendant".

It seems that the showers on your site are of much better design than on other sites such as the ccc site at Moffat where we stayed last year, which is a very nice, open, grassy site where it is impossible to access the toilet block without walking on frequently cut grass and the design of the showers is such that a lot of water splashes outside the tray area.

The cleaner could be in every half hour but it only takes one shower to leave the floor wet and dirty.

I dont expect to mop the entire block but a mop left handy does allow me to clean up after myself.

Is there some kind of hidden agenda here?, A snobbery against CCC sites?

If the presece of a mop & bucket in the shower block puts off those who get upset about such things then it's a selling point for me.

I think this subject has been done to death, with every angle on the subject being covered more than once, and then covered again, to the point where it is making everyone yawn, I would personally like to know the legal implications of the " mop & bucket" that cris has raised with the help of a third party, and perhaps he would be kind enough to investigate this further for us with the two main parties involved, that are guilty of providing us with the offending implements, being approached and the H&S issues put to them for there response. As I feel sure organisations of there size(cc &ccc) who generate there money by dealing with thousands of members of the general public on a daily basis, would not place themselves in such a perilous situation that could see them being sued on a very regular basis.

Ball in your court cris.

Berty... :)
