More cleaning

In preparation of going away on Wednesday I brought the caravan out of storage (well the end of our field) to clean this morning.
It was in a far worse state than I thought, the roof was covered in Lichen & there was green algae in all the joints & awning rails.
I got the Lichen & algae off using the remains of an old bottle of 'Boat Zoap' after Car Shampoo & Fenwick's wouldn't touch it.
I have been unable to get the algae out of the awning rail, anyone have any suggestions on an easy way to get this out?

This looks to be quite a sturdy awning rail brush
Do they do stainless steel brushes in this size to adapt to this handle ?

How about a small bottle brush from a hardware store and bend the handle
