All the current manufacturers produce models that will be suitable for your caravan. You just need to look up the specifications.

If you are looking for a recommendation, than I'm sorry but I won't promote one above the others, with the exception to discount all movers that attach to the A frame are not as universal in their ability or safety as those that drive the caravans main wheels.

You will inevitably see some glowing recommendations for some manufactures. The problem here is that often the recommendations are based on the companies ability to put things right, rather than getting right first time.

Be wary of recommendations because most people making them have only experienced one make and model of mover, so they cannot offer real comparative opinions.

I suspect in reality there is not a vast difference between the alternative makes in terms of outright reliability, so it really comes down to price, or if a particular feature is important to you.

PC did a review/comparison of motor movers a few months ago. If you can find it in a back issue it may help; although I do believe that not everyone on here felt that it was entirely objective. Try a search on this forum and you might (the search function is not amazing) find the ensuing discussion.
We have a PowrTouch mover and are very happy with it, but as the Prof rightly says this is the only make that we have tried so can't make a comparison.

I have a powrtouch on my 1999 Sterling Voyager 500L 1230 kg and am quite happy with it. One of the rubber boots around the motor failed and they sent me a pair foc. Not sure if yours is the welland dealer special of the europa (like mine) or if Sterling sold one with that name at some stage , can't tell from the pic.

Hi Crraig

Here we are in the 21st century and I will say go for fil' Truma or mt Powrouch.

However you point out a budget
I have friends who have ego units which do what they want.

Look at the others in your price range, buy on your credit card for the extra protection and enjoy.
