Motor mover/ Leisure battery

I have a Power touch motor mover fitted but I am not sure what size leisure battery is required to run it. There is a 85 amp hour in the van at the moment which I am not sure how old it is, any info would be gratefully accepted.

If you are normally on hookups and only use the mover to get on/off the pitch and parking the van at home/storage then 85Ah battery is fine. That's what I am using at the moment on a single axle 1250 kg van.

That's re-assuring for me,,,I have a small lunar cosmos 352,,single axle 995 Kg,,and have a 110 ah fitted,,but I'm always worried each time I move it in case the battery dies on me I have it connected to mains whilst at home and always use a site with hook-up..

I 'very moved the Wyoming 50 yards plus on level had gravel using a heavy duty powrtouch with a 110ah battery. No problem

Got the Powrtouch mover with the 85ah battery moves my 1700kg van no problem, but try and keep it topped up occasionally if you can.

hi guys, after killing two leisure batteries inside 4 years I went on to a normal heavy duty car starter battery, found it better for the mover, and they don't seem to mind being permanently on charge, that one lasted 7 years right up to selling the van.
