Motor Mover not working

I have never seen that, It certainly would not be god practice as the current rating of the typical 7pin connectors would not be enough to carry the stall current of one motor yet alone two. As far as I know the advice was to use a high current isolator switch.

In their earlier years well about 20,years ago a friend and FIL Truma mover had what I described.
None of my Powrtouch had it . I suspect it was a rarity but I promise it was real and usually attached to the A frame.

The socket just links two wires as a safety device, you can effectively do the same with a link wire on the PCB.

hi no this is not instead of the isolater it is in addition to it ,,

Though this post from the link given in the above # 26 should be noted.
If correct the plug is not by design, the switch, nor should it ever be as it can't be relied on to give a clean make or break, which can cause spikes that are potentially a killer of electronics.

Thank you Dusty, however in that application the plug and socket is not the isolator, it controls a remote relay. That means it's electrical function is not the same as a"big red key" so my comments regarding the current carrying capability are still entirely valid.
