Motor mover problems

When I try to manually engage rollers onto wheels, one side does not stay on?? The roller springs back??

Any suggestions?

rollers not engaging on one side when you try to engage just goes to off again if a power touch mover there is a safety mechanism built in.in behind the roller is a split pin this has shored of and will be in 2 pieces, this needs to be tapped out top to bottom and a new pin inserted but it is a fiddly job as one has to align the slots up, we find a piece of thin cord helpful to place through while removing pin.this holds it in line.the pins are available from power touch.the pin is located in line with the hex shaft.

providing the correct tyre size is fitted check the tyre pressures.ie.have you changed tyres with a higher wall size.has the mover caught a kerb and reduced the setting gap.ie.15 or 20 millimeter.

had the same problem on my last van and it was the pin that had snapped in two (as mentioned in one of the replies). Couldnt remove the pin due to where it had broken and stuck so called powertouch and an engineer came out, fast efficient and inexpensive.
