MPK Rooflight

The rooflight on my caravan is leeking and I suspect that it is cracked and need to remove the dome to inspect and repair it.It is a MPK Rooflight with two sprung handles. Can anyone tell me please how to remove the dome from the rooflight frame? Thanks,BOB

changed the perspex cover on the roof light on our last caravan. The pop up sprung handles had 4 screws which held them to the frame. once removed the perspex roof light could be lifted of.

del is right about the screws in the handles, it will get the cover off, but you still wont be able to seperate the inner vent from the outer dome.

It doesnt matter if u are just changing it its just when u want to clean between the 2.

If its an older vent it is sometimes held with 4 stainless screws, u just unscrew it. But if it is a modern one, the screws have gone, to be replaced with plastic rivets these u have to drill out (i'm told) and refit with stainless screws.
