MR SHIFTER 2

Can someone help? i have bought second hand a Mr Shifter 2 it has got an alloy plate under the ball, i believe to fit the Alko hitch. My question is are there different sizes of plate for the alko hitches? my hitch is the Alko AKS 3004 and the plate does not fit up to it snugly perhaps they dont. Have mailed shifta products but never got the answere. Thanks Bill

Probably I will be of little help but I used to have the Shifta Mk 1 together with Alloy adaptor for Alko 2004. The Plate was not a "snug" fit, it had a machined slot lenght-wise along the top into which the hitch sat; if I recall correctly with about 1-2 mm clearance.

He is likely to be at the NEC; ask someone here to nail him for an answer if you can wait.

Thanks for that there are 2 half moon cut outs near the front that the alloy hitch plate that i thought that the Alko would fit in but the cutouts i think need to be bigger as the hitch sits on them not in them Bill
