Musty smell in cartridge

My toilet cartridge smell musty, Ive cleaned it with bicarb and swilled zoflora rond it and left it in the open air for a couple of day with the cap off, although its not as bad it is till there, I dont want the van to smell musty, that is what elerted me to it in the first place. Is there anything I can do go gat it back to its "sweet" smelling self.

Hi Christina.I would suggest knowing what you have tried my next plan would be to add Blue Toiet Chemicals to your cartridge and fill with water and leave to stand. Add a good 150m of blue hopefully this will do the job for you .

Hi Sir Roger,
I will give that a try, thank you. Going to go and give the toilet a good clean and the place where the cassette fits, but Ime using toilet cleaner and maybe a bleach based cleaner for the outside.
I will let you know is its a success.
