Napps Camping & Touring Park.. Devon

We are thinking of a visit to this site in summer 2009. Has anyone any comments they could make as to the advisability or otherwise of this? We are a couple of young at heart wrinkly's with a very active young Springer Spaniel.

Are there any issues we should consider, also is the nearby beach shingle or sand and are dogs allowed on it?

Many thanks for reading this and a very happy christmas to all.

Hi Paul

We went to Knapps this year in July. The pitches are level but go up in tiers. If you have a twin axle van hope you have a mover not much room to manouver. To the shingle beach you have walk down 150 steps,we went so far down and turned back too dangerous. We have two dogs, you can take them on the local beaches but must stay on a lead.Got told off for walking one of our dogs around the sight, you have to walk dogs up a near by lane for them to do their business. We will not be going there again, but then to top it all we did have bad weather, very windy and alot of rain. Regards Loraine
