hya, i really wanted to get the al-ko secure compact wheel locks but they won't fit my van because they have steel wheels.

What wheel clamps do you other 620 owners use?? Do you take the wheel trims off to fit the wheel clamp, silly question maybe but this is totally new to me!

Advice desperatley needed, thanks folks.

If you are anywhere near Cirencester , Gloucestershire, I have just the thing for you, A Bulldog Centaur, as new. No, you do not need to remove the wheel trim. Did you intend clamping both axles ?

We used the Bulldog on our Pageant Vendee but the the Wyoming had the Al-ko locks.

Cheers

Hi Alan, is this a sold secure gold product, how easy is it to fit? Do you have 1 or tow of them? Does it fit a 14" STEEL wheel??

How much are you selling it for?

Thanks wendy

Hi Alan, yes i do intend to clamp both wheels on the twin axle but not together if you know what i mean, i'm interested in your wheel clamp though, we could arrange to courier it up to scotland easily enough.

Hi Wendy

It is the top of the range Bulldog Gold sold secure. I had two but one sold a few months ago.

Wendy,

I've asked Mods to send you my e-mail and we can then talk. Once I have your e-mail I'll also send you some technical data.

What a shame . I was in Kelso two weeks ago. Is that far from you?

Cheers

Thanks for wheel clamp Alan, i tried putting it on without hubby being there and managed to get it on but couldn't get the red cover plate on! Turns out that i had not put the metal arms in correct position so hubby sorted it all out properly and it went on no problem!

I had to buy another one for insurance purposes so now have two very big solid heavy bulldog centaur wheel clamps on my caravan, i can sleep peacefully now at night knowing that it is securer!

I'd recommend these to anyone, they are heavy though.

Yes they are heavy but as you know there is wisdom in there somewhere. Crow bars would have no effect and I guess sold secure gold didn't come easily.

Once you have the three arms alligned , as you say the red face plate fits a treat. I could get mine on in under 60 seconds, well that was after a few years practice!

Good luck.

Cheers

Alan
