Hi, I have just bought the above caravan, a 1993 model. It is a large van but the plate has on it 12kg max laden weight. I am surprised at this, as my previous ABI Award was much smaller and 1350kg max!

Anyway, it needs tidying, new seat cushions making (any recomendations in the north east) nand a very good clean!

I will update on 'restoration' as it continues.

Any advice on the 'ALDE' water system would be good!

I have not picked up caravan yet as it is on the south coast, so just getting info before i collect next week.

I'd be surprised as well, a 93 600GL is 1250kg empty!!

Real pre97 Bessacarr's though have always been light, a 550GLD I looked at today only weighs 1190kg all up... but that was an 83 model?!
