new car, new nose weight.

l have just changed my car from a suzuki g/vitara, nose weight 85kg to a nissan xtrail with a nose weight of 100kg. Do l need to up the caravan nose weight to 100kg or leave the loading l had on the old car.

What is the noseweight limit specified for the caravan? It's always the lower of the two figures for car and caravan respectively, that applies.

My caravan is a 04 Bailey Discovery 200. Where would l locate this info.

most vans have an Alko chasis ,with a max nose weight of 100kg ,so no matter what your car can take ,your van can only take 100kg ,and the info can found in your van handbook

I personally think the higher you can get the noseweight without exceeding either limit the better.

i quite agree craig as long as you dont go to much over the limit ,
