Hello not new to caravaning but have just brought a s/hand Sprite Alpine 2, my last van (over 20 years ago) an Ace cant remember model. may req advice when i pick it up in a couple weeks..

I have a Swift Vogue 480, which i think is a glorified Alpine 2 (has motor mover, solar panel etc). It was made in 2020 and we had just about everything go wrong with it. Since bought I have replaced the motor mover, the main control panel, the battery charger and cured a leak in one of the cupboards from the roof. We never donr caravanning before November and was close to packing it in, but a couple of stable trips with no issues are making us consider keeping it up. We certainly had a baptism of fire, the power charger packed up the 23rd December. ! managed to get a lovely fella come out Christmas eve, at cost, but worth it as he had us from dark and cold back to warm and light.
