You I love my Sorie,LOL.

Have a look at "uksorento.com". That will tell you everything you need to know. We currently have more than 1700 Sorie owners, a great forum.

Black or silver??

I never have the same colour twice in a row. As the last car was black the Sorie, as you have seen is silver.

The Sorie in all black, with blackened rear windows and chrome does look the dogs b----ks.

The only draw back I found with black was the way it showed the dirt.

Our 2005 Sorie is on 60k mls and has been very reliable.

Go for it.

And you get black leather mmmmm!!

Cheers

I had a Mondeo TDCI Ghia x Which I thought was a really good towcar and when I was changeing I went for a Kia Sorento Titan 2.5 automatic Diesel. I found it hard to believe that I could improve on the towing ability of the Mondeo However, the Kia is twice the towcar it tows effortlesly and would easily tow a double axel van.It also has the advantage of good off road performance which will be a good benefit in a Scottish winter. If you like the look of the Sorento and the higher running cost isnt a major concern go for it you wont regret it.

We bought a Sorento after asking around, reading reviews etc, and have been really pleased with it. Very comfortable drive, tows our 1865kg mtplm twin axle like a dream. Towed from London to Scotland in one day - and it was a pleasure. Had ours a year and hasn't had any problems at all. Useful to have the four wheel drive on the wet and soggy pitches we have had this year too!

kelvin, I just had a panick on that our nose weight was about 100kg when the santa fe is a max towball weight of 80kg. also we do take a lot and have since narrowed it down.

we did go and drive the new sorie xt 08 manual it was nice the extras you get different from the santa fe are a sunroof, elec mirrors, a smaller boot, only 5 seats, rds, but the extras you get on the santa fe was clean air button, lumbar support seats, 7 seats and bigger boot,.

it was nice dont get me wrong but when i got back into our santa fe i realised that if we got rid of it we would be making the biggest mistake ever. i felt out our santa fe was a better ride it doesnt tow as much but its more stable and not as wollowie.

after the test drive we went over to the storage and checked our nose weight its only 80kg so we have been worring for nothing.

were towing at about 87% so im really happy now and the santa fe aint going anywhere.

hi jo

just bought a 54 plate with 113k on it brilliant for towing it has sself levelling suspension and its more like driving a car.the only fault ive had was a leaky shock absorber(250 quid)but it does have well above average mileage and the air con pipe fractured but i did the jobs myself so kept the cost down but apart from that very pleased

Hi Jo-anne

Sorry I have not replied before - I have a Light Grey/Dark Grey, does not show the dirt that much.

We are really pleased with all aspects of the car and have had no problems 15 months of ownership.
