New tow car anyone?

I accidentally started watching this vintage car auction. It has reached £8000 and stuck with 6 hours to go. I am thinking it will jump to around £60,000. Certainly out of my price range, but I would love it.

I think it looks lovely, 1947 Citroen Traction Avant built in Slough.

And lilac was its original colour.

A nice Maigret motor. Even in the late 1940s there were inroads into our industry from France. But Ford and Vauxhall had done it too. At least my 2CV and Renault 16 and BX 16 were the genuine article 🤭
