New Truma SE Mover

Has anyone had the new Truma SE mover fitted. I am seriously looking at one of these and would like to know how they shape up against others on the market. From an engineering point they certainly look much neater and practical but the real proof is do they work as well?.

Any comments will be appreciated.

Hi

We've a Truma TE which is the twin axle version of the SE which uses the same motor units. It is an well made unit which looks like it has been engineered to automotive standards. It has well designed castings and has been properly waterproofed.

It certainly does the job and pulls our twin axle up kerbs slopes and anything else we throw at it. The handheld unit is intuitive and has friendly beeps to let you know when it has connected. It also beeps to let you know that their is an oveload situation (i.e. when I left the handbrake on) rather than breaking a shear pin. Overall we're very pleased with it. BTW I fitted it myself and the whole process was pretty straightforward.

We have the truma TE fitted to our van, and I fully agree with your comment a nice well engineered piece of kit.
