Here’s to a Happy family Christmas Buckman. I assume you will be doing all the cooking😉
I have been doing all the cooking for the past 2 -3 months and on occasions for the whole family. Can't be that bad as at times they ask for seconds. LOL! (y) :D

Will pick van up Friday at 1.30 pm has a sort of sweet and sour thing. When I first looked at the van, had an idea to take the wife on short trips from the care home. but she died on the 21st Nov so ---------- so am a lone caravaner now. I have lost my-----------. we were married 50 years.
So sorry to hear this news. Thoughts and Prayers are with you. Hopefully, at some point in the future, you will find some comfort from happy memories and knowing that she is now at peace.

I am sorry to hear this. The CAMH has a single members section on the web site which might be of interest to you. There are other ones but I do not have details but a web search should find them if this helps.

2023 Elite 480 dealer special Based on the Swift Challenger. I'm now a few pounds lighter.
I know this is an old thread (and sorry for your loss) but wondered how you found the Elite and if you still have it - is it all good. Asking as looking at second hand one to replace our Swift Challenger 530 (2016) but worried about the build quality (and any things to look for).

Bought it new Nov 2022 from Grantham Caravans, so far it has been great, I've just had one problem that was easily sorted.
The heating drain down pipe at the rear of the van, the spring clip sealing the pipe had snapped and I lost fluid. New clip, topped up, bled the system. Once I found the leak, didn't take long to fix,
Couldn't be more pleased with if.

Thank you

That's really reassuring to be honest. Love the layout and and furnishings etc but I always get a bit twitchy when changing vans (in case I buy a lemon - again!) Will review again and possibly purchase (y)

Same here. My other van was a Challenger 442 2011 . In all the time I owned it, the only things I had to change was the tyres. had to think long and hard before I changed it.
Paid off for me.
