Hi all,

I'm Abi, married to Martin. We recently purchased a Swift Conqueror 480 after a 18+ year break from caravanning! We can't wait to get back into it, this time without the concerns of babies/toddlers to think of!

Because my health isn't as predictable as I'd like, caravanning meets our needs - we can go away when I'm able without having to book too far in advance. We're always assured of a comfortable bed, AND we can take our 2 dogs with us!

We're planning on doing many long-weekend breaks, all the year round, rather than a few longer breaks in the summer-months only. Does anyone else go away in the colder months - and if so, do you have any tips for making this easier?

Looking forward to chatting with you all!

Hi Abi. There are plenty of winter caravanners on here. If there is a snowfall, they tend to post the pics just to prove how hardy they are :). Look forward to hearing about your trips.
