Newport Caravans are moving

Newport Caravans are advertising on their website that they are moving..............................to the old Mendip (and later Discover) site at Kings Parade in Newport. Moving date is 1st August.
 
l thought they belonged to discover and were shut down by them, have gone it alone, good news if they have maybe other sites that discover shut down may also follow Newport Caravans.

But maybe l have this wrong.

The Newport Caravans company was never part of Mendip Caravans nor Discover Leisure. It was a separate company which was set up by 2 gentlemen who left Discover before Discover started closing branches. The gentlemen were however two of the original persons who set up Mendip Caravans in Newport before it was taken over by Discover, after which they felt they were farther removed from their customers and wanted to be more 'hands-on'.
