Niggles in your van!!

Hi All

We all love our vans, and the layouts we choose are pretty specific to our own tastes, but what little thing niggles you and would you change about your van? (Apart from the very obvious under chassis spare wheel!!) Our Swift Challenger 510 is ideal for our family outings, perfect layout for us, but very annoyingly our radio/cd player is mid van in a cupboard behind the television (if we take it) Even if we don't, to change a cd or radio station is an irritating walk to aforementioned cupboard. (no remote control) Once that is done, it's then trial and error to get the volume right as the speakers are at the front of the van, lots of toing and froing until all is well. Like I say, not a HUGE problem but one of those 'niggles'. Any one got a really small niggle? In the grand scheme of things I know it's not important really, just call me nosey!!

One other is there is no control panel as such, so no volt meter to check the battery or switch from van to car etc.

Isn't that a bit personal

I've just thought of a rhyme ...

There once was a man
Who had a small niggle
When he flashed the girls
It gave them a giggle

Was the rhyme autobiographical Lord B?

My small niggle would be that on our Abbey Vogue 620 the 230v switches for the water heater, space heater and battery charger are underneath the front n/s underseat locker.
I can access the switches from a front opening but I still have to adopt a Muslim at prayer posture to switch them on or off

We had the same with our Indiana, the radio/DVD player was in a cupboard so couldnt pause etc without having door open, moved it to the center panel under the clock and its a lot better, dont understand the compulsion to hide everything.
