Nightmare. Our caravan has leaked. Would anyone have any ideas where we may be able to get trims for the bottom of the cupboards?

The caravan is a Compass Corona 636 2007 model. Fortunately the cupboard doors are solid wood but the trims are veneer so have blown. Apparently it's Aswald Ash but due to the age of it I am having problems searching and don't know where to start??

I would suggest getting the leak repaired before attempting anything else. There are a number of places that can recover the veneer depending where you are located.

If the doors are good but you can’t get replacement veneer then you could possibly strip the veneer and either diy paint them or get one of these companies that re spray kitchen doors to do it?

If you search on the net, there are lots of companies that supply veneers, and you might find your particular type of ash from one of them. But replacement doors from and old cararavan could be tge best option.

I think it is the trims that had swelled and not the doors?

Thanks for your reply. The leak is currently being repaired we are just trying to sort these out before refitting them. ☺️

Yes the doors are absolutely fine thankfully but they are solid wood. It's the veneered trims that took the battering.
