Propane to Patio gas adapter?

We have a 1990 Cotswold, and the lockers are too small for Gaslight cylinders so we're stuck with 6kg Propane.

We have a BBQ and a Pizza oven that run off the 27mm Gaslight connector. I'd rather not carry a 5kg Gaslight cylinder just to run the BBQ / Pizza oven - so is there an adapter I can screw onto the Propane bottle, that then presents a 27mm interface that I can clip onto?

And then, can I fit a 27mm regulator to the caravan?

So the act of fitting / removing bottles is much faster than having to unscrew / rescrew everything twice just to make a pizza :)

There are adapters the other way round - female 27mm to threaded - https://www.gaslowdirect.com/product/gaslow-27mm-clip-on-gas-cylinder-adapter-01-1673-t/

Thanks, I feel I'm about to get schooled on gas safety and why this is a dumb idea :)

THe first thing you need to check is if the BBQ is approved for use with Propane gas. The data plate on the BBQ should tell you the types gas and pressures it can be used with.

The second thing to check is what regulator (and its pressure rating) is already fitted to the caravan.

Armed with that information we might be able to suggest a solution.

Not to my knowledge.
It will start to be a multi joint assembly on the high pressure side which is never good news and you ought not do it. Gas servicing engineers would have something to say, and I expect refuse to touch it. Your insurers could also be concerned.
Why not change the BBQ's connection to suit a POL as the propane? (*)
Then use a soft nosed, handwheel type of POL connection, that also uses little effort changing cylinders.
Edit: as the Prof so correctly states you have to ensure the working pressures match.

It's a Beaulaire BBQ, the plate says Propane 37mbar and it works fine with the 27mm Propane 37mbar regulator I fitted to it.

The caravan regulator is also Propane, and the 1990-era appliances list 37mbar as working pressure. So I obviously plan to change that for a 27mm one - if I can find an adapter

I struggle to se why, I would replace the BBQ's regulator with as said a soft nosed handwheeled POL one. Its going to be the cheaper as well as way less hassle route than getting someone to manufacture, or supply a 27MM clip-on male adaptor with its integrated gas valve. That's before, if in Europe, you take into account what we are permitted to do. If in NZ then I have zero idea of what is allowed.

I's and early hadn't picked up on Kiwimike's location, Are you in NZ or the UK?

I'm sorry but I am not familiar with the details of NZ regulations or the fittings, you should consult local gas engineers who are familiar with them.

UK. Maybe that’s why there isn’t the adapter I’m after - because the bottle-side 27mm includes some sort of valve?

And I want this because even with the big plastic wheel, screwing/unscrewing each time will get old.
