It might mean:

the wife is barren so they have 'no children'

the husband is infertile so they have 'no children'

Or it could mean:

No children have ever crossed the threshold of the caravan

Or, if you are interested in the caravan and wanted to view it, it might mean no children will be allowed in close proximity of the caravan

Or, it might mean, no children are included in the price of this caravan

Or, it could mean this caravan is not suitable for children

Oh yes, that could be true. Poor van, probably led a very lonely life, someone should buy it and cheer it up a bit.

Hi Jim ,

It usually means that no children have lived/resided in the caravan meaning that you would not expect some of the low level , shall we say , damage/mess that some younger children could create. Maybe also damage that childrens equipment might cause in a restricted space such as , pushchairs , cots , larger toys and highchairs . Much the same when it says NO SMOKERS , you would expect no one to have smoked in the caravan and have the problems that might create .

It's amazing that when it's time to sell the van, the sellers suddenly become childless, dogless none smokers

It could refer to the on site shop which has ample supplies of bread, milk, newspapers but no children.

No children , No smokers , No pets , Only used three times , Never been towed . The funny thing is :-

1) the dints around the awning rail .

2) a rather niffy smell .

3) matted hairs in the carpets .

4) scratches to all interior fittings .

5) odd tyres .

And they think WE ARE stupid ??? !!! .

Maybe they should finish the statement off when they're advertising the van, to clear up any misunderstandings:

For example:

No children have been harmed in the making of this advert.

No children have been sick in this van.

No children have spilt vile smelling stuff on the carpet (we've only got the windows open because its a warm day)....... and so on.

They must be selling the caravan to devote more time to getting some children

Maybe they will not sell it to children, it may have an 18 certificate ! :)

Y'know one of those caravans suitable for adult only sites :)
