No Water From Taps 2

Hi all.

I would appreciate any help that you can give regarding the water system on my 1995 Abbey Spectrum.
I cannot get hot or cold water to the taps.
I have tried the following -

• Removed the tubing immediatley after the tank and pumped water so assume the internal pump is working satis.
• Blown down tubing to remove any airlock.
• Removed and cleaned the diffuser in the mixer tap.
• Changed tap washers.
• Cleaned inlet into pressure switch.

Are there any other filters that I don't know about that need cleaning / changing. Is there anything that could cause a blockage ?

Hello Burnsey,

You have told us that the pump does work, but it is not clear if your pump runs when you open your taps. I will assume it dosen't and thus my first suspicion is the pressure switch either needs adjusting or is faulty.

Beyond that without access to check various aspects of the system it is almost impossible to offer any further advice, except to seek the services of an engineer who can visit the caravan.

Sorry - the pump does run with the taps open.

I have also adjusted the pressure switch to no avail. Looks like this could be the culprit. Is this a common fault ?

Hello Burnsey,

I Cant be sure, but it coudl be the none return valve in the pressure switch that is jammed shut.
