No water

Burst pipe nr Swinford bridge close to oxford has meant our postcode has no water.......just queued at Sainsbugs in Witney for ages to get some courtesy of Thames Water......some folk were giving the people handing it out grief because they wouldn't give them unlimited supplies!!!

In the grand scheme of things we are lucky enough.

Still no water yet although the next village now has some so hopefully it won’t be too long.

Back to Sainsburys this afternoon to get some more from Thames Water.
My neighbour went to Aldi this morning and they had run out of- people had been bulk buying, some were loading up trolleys.

I thought supermarkets had learned from the toilet paper idiots during Covid, and had restricted that sort of bulk buying.
You should drag your van to a nearby site with water on it and stay there until it is over.
