Terry, it depends what is causing the pump to be noisy.

On board pumps will always be more noticeable than the aquaroll pump, but should not be too intrusive.

If it making very loud banging noises it is more than likely drawing air in as well as water.

First thing I would do is change the 'O' rings on the water inlet and see what difference that makes.

If you still want to try and quieten it down more, mounting on a sound deadening material will go a way to reducing the noise, but not eliminate it entriely.

Thanks Damien, I'll go the sound deadening route I think as the pump has been noisy in operation since we purchased the 'van which is an '08 Monarch. I should have asked Sodbury to check at service but I forgot. Being screwed directly to the floor, it "hammers" when used. Water flow seems correct at the taps but how do I check out those seals please, so I can rule that out as well, thanks, Terry.

Ok, just lifted the pump onto some sorbo rubber,(same as fitted between pump body and filter) only about 15mm thick and re-used the very long mounting screws and job done. Excellent result runs almost silently now, recommended!.
