This September we are travelling from Roscoff to Santander. We think we have sorted the sites in France but would like recommendations for sites on the way to Santander, that is in Northern Spain. It is our first time in this area so any thoughts/ideas would be much appreciated.

Just come back from Playa Joyel yesterday, excellent site (swim hats MUST be worn in pool complex) and direct access to lovely beach which has good surf for bodyboarding. The on-site shop is the best I've ever seen abroad, in term of being well stocked. The surrounding area is also nice for evening walks into town,
