Silly question,tow car is a landrover discovery 2 td5 es with self levelling air suspension,and the caravan is a bailey beachcomber club 440/4,what is the noseweight please,according to the handbook of the disco,if I am towing above 2 ton noseweight should be 250kg.

Your van max weight is less than 1 tonne and I would guess its max nose weight to be about 60 to 70 kg.

was thinking 75 kgs but wanted to ask and see what people thought,thanks for the reply.

The recommendation is 5% to 7% of max van weight, therefore 50 to 70 kg for your van, hence my response of 60 to 70 kg as it is better to go to the max van nose weight if possible (if this is still less than the tow vehicle max nose weight).
