just bought a elddis storm, my first touring van, had a static for nearly 8yrs and i decided i wanted a change.....took it out this weekend...woke up sunday morning and it was snowing........thought to myself.......i must be mad!!! it can only get better........can't it.......lol Janie

Hi janie, of course it'll get better. Have you tried putting the awning up in a force 9 gale yet, when your other half has forgotten to pack the mallet. They should have a branch of Relate on every major touring site.

Only kidding, our experience was a trailer tent in a gale: we made lots of friends as every other camper raced to our aid. Best holidays ever.

Hi all, I'm Janies other half. We went out at the weekend to try the awning and the sun blind thingy but spark here chose a CL in the middle of a wood. Only just space for the van never mind the awning. Not to worry though, got our 16 year old lad with us at Easter, he'll sort it I'm sure as he appears to know every thing else.
