Hi, just thought I'd introduce myself...

I grew up with caravan holidays and loved every minute of it. My parents used to take us away most weekends and off to Spain for a few weeks every summer.

Now I'm married with kids I thought we'd give it ago ourselves. We got an Avondale Godiva 556 (dealers special based on Dart) at the end of last year and tow with my wife's Fiat Multipla.

We live in Lancs so the Lake's are ideal for a weekend getaway, although we're being a bit more adventurous and are off to Euro Disney in August.

The lakes is a beautiful area, which I visited as an outward bound trainee. I must revisit soon.
