Seems he was well over the limit with a bottle of wine, a couple of beers and then mounted the island at a round about. LOL!
At 41micrograms/100 millilitres he was only just over the 35 limit - however, a driver will not be prosecuted under section 5 with a breath alcohol level under 40 micrograms, in accordance with the guidelines contained in Home Office circular

On Christmas day we will be over at daughter's for dinner. prior to dinner I will have a glass of port and with dinner a Zero Guinness or two, then coffee. Although they are only 4 miles from us on a rural road, I will not take the chance.
