Older caravan bike carrier...?

Weve an Elddis Elusion Avante 534 its 2003 I think. It doesnt have a rail running along the top at the back as Ive seen a lot that can take for eg Fiamma bike carriers.

Just wondering if anyone knows of a bike rack that fits the back for an older caravan...?
Just need to carry 2 bikes as we're always having to put them in the caravan and tie them down so they dont sway about etc on every trip. 2 mountain bikes that is.

Ive seen the ones that go at the front behind the handbrake I presume you take the cover over to show the chassis and attach it there - was looking at those but on the back would be much handier if possible...

Anyone any ideas if there is a carrier that might suit...?

Not all caravans have the strengthening in the back to take a cycle rack.
You will need to contact Elddis with the exact model and chassis number to get the definitive answer.
No one on here will know for sure

Hi illusion 1 we have a bike carrier on the back of our Sprite Major 6 but properly fitted but we also travel with 2 mountain bikes inside the van when we're away and have recently returned from a 2ooo mile trip to & from France with them inside , well cushioned and positioned against the furnishings so that they do not move or damage anything .

But like Damien says contact Elddis first before doing any modifications to the back of your van for strengthening reasons .
