I have towed with two Omega Estates over the last 8 years-a 2.5 auto and currently a 3.0 auto. I must say they are the most stable cars I have ever towed with-much better than my Range Rover. Have you checked noseweight, tyre pressures etc?

The car tyres do need extra air when towing.

I did find that the Range Rovers stability improved when I changed tyres.

Regards

I tow with a 2.5td and always inflate the tyres to 36psi all round before setting off.

I have - thus far! had no problems having towed to Costa del Sol and back.

Others on this site, all be it some time ago, have reported tramling with the omega.

I had the same problem with the 2000 audi a4 i had, the tyres were low profile 225/45 r17. It could be quite annoying, worse when you could visibly see the lorry ruts.

Never did "cure" it.
