Hi

If the site has onsite booster ariel plug ins on pitches. Where abouts in the caravan do you plug it. I have a coax cable but if someone could explain to me that would be appreciated.

Many thanks.

If you have an input plug from the caravan aerial to the caravan booster box you can plug it in there or just straight into the aerial socket on the rear of the TV.

Where you can gain entry for the cable in to the caravan from the sites booster supply will probably be the deciding factor as to where you plug it in.

Hi Lisa

If you had come on the meet you cod have used it as the sit were we were stop had the booster ariel plug on the back of the electric hook boxes.

All we did is run a bit of coax cable form the boxes to the back of the TV also the shop on sit sold the coax cable for it.

Mark

P.S

They all so had so of the other changes (ITV 2).

Lisas we use a thin coax cable and just shut it in the bottom of the window. The rubber seals round it and it does not seem to put undue strain on the window latches.

Hi

Thanks for the replies. I understand now. I thought that you had to plug the coax into a special socket or something outside the caravan.

Yes, I know I'm a bit dim!!

It's not so dim Lisa.

With sites offering boosters and people using a variety of aerials and satellite dishes new caravans chould be fitted with external sockets.
