we have a Cableform 12v 8 w light fitting with a u/s tube, the unit appears to sealed so how do i changethe tube ? , or do bin it and start again ?. any thoughts please.
 
Not familiar with the Cableform light fitting but the bulbs can sometimes be replaced by gently squeezing the light
fitting cover top and bottom and pulling the cover off .This is especially the case with external awning lights.
You mentioned a tube which suggests the type of fitting where,if you pull one or both ends they slide out to let the cover be removed to expose the tube.
