Overnight in France

Travelling to Lake Garda in July this year. I have booked an overnight in Calais and need one in Troyes region and another in Chamonix region. Any suggestions?

I when travelling to Italy avoid the french motoways and go via belgium, Germany(via the Moselle and Rhine Valleys) over to Austria via Bavaria then into Italy via the Brenner Pass which takes you to Lago Garda.

No tolls until Austria and the Italy

if tyou go this way I can give you some sites on the way. regards
