Could anyone suggest a caravan site within close proximity, ie walk or cycle ride into La Rochelle.

Try Camping-les-sables.com.I stayed on this site a few times.Brill site.They have a huge pool complex and are also 300 yda from the beach.There is a cycle track from the site into La Rochelle @ 20mins.You can also cycle to a place called Port des Minimes,leave ur bikes there and get a water taxi into the center of La Rochelle.I Hope this helpes

I booked direct,was as cheap as chips absolutley NO problem.Staff couldnt do enough.Would be gong back this yeay only Brittany Ferries want 1800 euro for return ferry from Ireland to France.Am going landbridge and landing in Callais so am going ti La croix du Pont?????. ENJOY...
