Since it seems we are largely agreed that caravans have a very low accident rate with, unfortunatley, those that do occur getting dispoportionate publicity, can I suggest everyone reads the thread on possible caravan MoTs in the General section and perhaps then contacts their European MP/s to try and get the proposed legislation declined.
As has been suggested it MAY be that UK Government would choose to ignore or modify this legislation anyway, but personally I am not too confident about this and would prefer to see it killed at origin, rather than rumble about for probably years.
