Pageant microwave

Has anybody experienced problems with there microwave with the series six.

Been away twice this year, each time the microwave failed to work, at home works every time, at the dealers the same no probs.

Been advised it could be a voltage fault, the light works and the turn table rotates, but it dont heat anything.

(well every now and again)

Strange, never used a microwave in a van before, is this normal are the sites voltage too low,

if so whats the point of having one.

Any comments welcomed.......

That seems a bit strange! Haven't used ours very much but any time I have it worked o.k. What was the power supply on the sites you were on, C.C. sites are normally 16amp and that should work a caravan microwave fine. I have used ours on a site with 10amp supply and it was o.k. also. I would have thought if there wasn't enough power it wouldn't have worked at all and would have tripped supply at site bollard, can't understand how you would get only limited power.

This may seem silly and I don't mean to be rude but are you sure that someone, child perhaps, hadn't altered power setting on oven and you were "cooking" on a low setting hence no or very little heat. I suggest that because it happened to me.

Weve tried every setting, and it dosent trip the site supply so I dont think its a Ampere issue.

just back from a fortnight away with ours used the microwave several times no probs. try turning every thing else off room heater and water heater

We have been out 3 times in our van and used the microwave only on the first setting and each time it's worked fine.
