painting the wallboards

hello, can anybody advise me if it is possible to paint the ceiling in my caravan, i have recently changed one of the boards an was unable to get an exact match, the ceiling is cream an the new panel is white, i was thinking of maybe emulsion or can you buy a special paint, any advive would be great, thanks

Hi Jeff

I've never tried this on a caravan but rather than use emulsion I'd suggest that the best paint for a surface such as wallboard is eggshell applied with a small sponge roller.

try vinyl silk or bathroom it will repell condensation wipe clean

as a caravan repairer myself i have painted a few ceilings over the years with not one single problem. vinyl silk emulsion.
