Panic stations

Well the day is here.

Daughter swans off in the morning heading for the Loire for the next 4 1/2 months (ruftus) case half done drying on the line etc etc.

What can I say IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN ME.

Friends daughter did the same on a Uni placement.

Her friend moved in with a French guy within two weeks leaving her alone! Friends dughter was home sick and parents had to make 5 or 6 trips to see she was OK and "cheer her up". depite them becoming poorer with the costs :-(

Happy now ;-)

Bon chance! I hope she is a sensible, wiser, better adjusted young lady ๐Ÿ™‚

What's France got that we don't have here, Smiley? Pity your daughter, she will have to put up with the French for 4 1/2 months and eat nothing but small wild animals, whole. Think yourself lucky that it's not you and get out there and enjoy good old Blighty.

Well Lol.

It hasn't got Blair, Prescott and crew ๐Ÿ™‚

It has people who stand up to stupid actions by their governments and councils.

Diesel at a more sensible price.

Cafe culture compared to yob culture !

Some fair Wines and excellent mushrooms in the Loire.

Warmer Weather ๐Ÿ™‚

Police who get and demand respect, especially from youngsters.

Good food in schools.

And no Royalty.

I could go on ;-)
