Part for hot water system - help needed

I have a 1997 Bessacarr Cameo 550GL. While making sure the Alde 3000 boiler was drained properly for the winter I managed to break a small plastic pipe union on the output of the boiler. I am now having trouble finding a replacement. Alde say it is part of the caravan plumbing rather than part of the boiler and to date enquiries with dealers have not been much help.

What I am looking for is a plastic union to screw into a metal T piece on the boiler output and present a straight male onto which I can fit a plastic pipe of 10mm inside diameter.

The end that screws into the metal T piece has a diameter of approx 13mm measured across the outside of the thread. The piece I broke was plastic but I'm sure a metal union would do just as well.

If anyone thinks they can help, please let me know.

If my description does not provide enough clarity please e-mail me and I can send a picture.

Many thanks

You could try aquafax.co.uk. They seem to sell all manner of parts for Alde 3000 boilers. Included in their product catalogue are pipe fittings.

Many thanks for you help. Your guidance led me to several more companies specialising in this type of kit. Some of the on-line catalogues are hard work; I eventually found what I needed at DIS (East Anglia) Ltd. I phoned my order Tuesday midday and received the part in the post Wednesday morning. That's what I call service.

Thanks again

Richard

Hi

It sounds like a Male iron hose connector. If you've got the threaded part out of the T piece then just take to a caravan shop, otherwise for the best fitting go to: www.asapsupplies.co.uk

They sell to the boating fraternity so do all sorts of plumbing pieces.

I have a catalogue and price list so you could alsways tell me the size of the thread and diameter of the hose section and I could let you know the price. Delivery is steep starting at about
