looking for a site off M6 for overnight on journey from Highlands to Dover, not Royal Umpire, has anyone got any suggestions>

Hi Ali,

Try Yatehouse farm Nr Middlewich Cheshire CW10 9NS tel 01606 833125. Basic but reasonable,approx 3mile from M6.
On your way down leave at jct 19,but when rejoining M6 next day go to jct18 at Holmes Chapel not back to jct 19

Hi Ali, Unless you need to for a reason, I would go over the A66 to Scotch Corner and down the A1, it`s a lot quieter, and more places to stop, without having your eyes taken out by service stations.

Try Holly Bank Caravan Park in Warrington, Cheshire. Five minutes off junction 21 of the M6 just after the Thelwall Viaduct.
Ideal for an overnight stop.
