Pembrey CC site

Would welcome any views on Pembrey site. Does it have a good play area for kids (ours are 3 and 5). Also, is it worth taking bikes? The ride needs to be fairly easy for the little ones.

Jo,

Lovely site, can't remember if the actual site has a play area, just outside the gate you are in a huge country park and there is a big play are in there, and loads of room for running around and playing ball as well as a ski slope and taboggan run. I would say definately take bikes you can ride in the country park or you can drive along to burry port and then cycle along the coastal path most of which is tarmac and fairly flat. Enjoy

The site has a small play area, the usual cc ones. As Gill said the one outside the site is great. Lots to do I love this site its brillant for the kids. We are off there at the end of May.

As the others have said the site and the surrounding country park is first class in fine weather - nothing there for wet weather. Pembrey beach is a beautiful natural beach with miles of sand and sandunes. Only downside it the tight 90 degree bend over the railway line on the access route to the site. Good luck and enjoy your stay in Wales. Incidentally the fish and chip shop on the left as you turn down the access road is excellent for quality and quantity of food.
