Any recommendations for a site near the showground Peterborough or a ten mile radius of it?

Thanks.

We had been to Ferrymeadows for 5 night it a good park.

Its in two bit one hearth is on one side of the and the part is on the other side and its part of a country park with lakes for you to take the dog on wakes on.

It is open all year but I think they only one side of it in the winter.

We are thick of going back nest year.

Hi Mark

Thanks for the reply. Is it a CC site? That sounds really nice. I'll have a look. I could do Peterborough there and back in a day but thought we'd stay over for a few days.

Hi Lisa,

Recommend Ferry meadows we visite at least 4 times a year,

Site is 5 mins walk from the park, with your dogs you will certainly enjoy,There are loads of walks around the Park, you can cycle into Peterborough from there.

Site is open all year, split in two, both sides of the road leading to the park, one side hardstandings, other grass.

Tv reception lousy but you can hook up to theirTv sockets proved with each electric point.

This is a really nice site with good walks around the lakes. A steam train runs into Peterborough from the nearby station. In my opinion though the only downside is the lack of local shops or supermarkets close to the site, ensure you take all foodstuffs with you, (this includes drinks).
