I'm thinking of changing to the above car. Question - why does such a heavy car (1685kg) have such a low towing weight of only 1300kg, and noseweight of only 60 kg? Has anybody got one and what's their view on this car as a tug? Also what's the towing & solo MPG? Is the Sat Nav any good?

Poor traction up a 12% incline, this is how cars are rated for towing weights. Note how a lighter car like a subaru legacy has a towing weight of 2000kg! I would avoid the 407, in fact i wouldn't consider any french or Italian car, the build quality is crap ...... I say this from experience. Japanese and German cars are the ones to buy
